Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Drywaller to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and finishing drywall surfaces across various commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces by creating smooth, durable walls and ceilings that meet precise specifications. Duties
- Measure, cut, hang, and secure drywall panels using hand tools and power tools to ensure proper fit and finish
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute drywall installation accurately
- Apply drywall mudding (joint compound), tape seams, sand surfaces, and perform texturing to achieve flawless finishes
- Repair damaged drywall surfaces, including patching holes or cracks with precision and care
- Install metal stud framing, trim carpentry elements, doors, fixtures, and perform stucco or plastering work as needed
- Follow strict safety protocols in compliance with construction workplace safety regulations during all phases of work
- Collaborate with other trades such as carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and painting teams to ensure project cohesion
Experience
- Proven construction experience with a focus on drywall installation, repair, and finishing techniques
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes and ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Familiarity with construction site safety regulations and best practices for working in dynamic environments
- Hands-on experience with hand tools such as taping knives, sanders, drills, saws, and power tools used in drywall work
- Experience in related areas like water damage restoration, mold remediation, remodeling, flooring installation or airless paint spraying is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently on construction sites with minimal supervision while adhering to safety standards
- Prior involvement in restoration industry projects or fixture installation is advantageous
