Onyx is seeking an entry-level professional to support our Systemwide Corridor Construction Management (CCM) team in our Lisle project office. In this role, you will assist the CCM team with coordination, documentation, and communication efforts across Systemwide construction projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Support CCM activities for Systemwide construction contracts
• Participate in Systemwide construction progress meetings
• Maintain maintenance of traffic updates
• Manage and update signing logs
• Prepare scoping memos for construction management contracts

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• 0–2 years of relevant experience (internships encouraged)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to learning
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of construction field inspection
• Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications
• Experience with Illinois Tollway or IDOT projects
