Junior Integration Developer (Internet Order Management / Sales-to-Cash — Entry Level)

Role

Help build and connect our business order-management system — the layer that captures a business order, tracks the work it depends on, and hands a completed order off to fulfillment. You will write and configure the logic that moves data cleanly between systems through APIs, and help shape how the build comes together technically.

This is a hands-on, entry-level engineering role for someone early in their career who understands how APIs work, is comfortable with modern AI tools and agents, and wants to grow into owning integrations. You do not need deep telecom experience — we will teach you the domain. You do need to be a careful developer who can reason about data moving between systems, and who is platform-flexible: we may build on an open-source CRM, a low-code platform, or a commercial tool, and the right person adapts to the tool we choose.

What you'll do

• Build order, dependency, and circuit data objects, along with the screens and logic around them, on whichever platform we select.
• Design and implement the API integration that hands a completed order off to our fulfillment system, and pulls status back.
• Match records between systems by ID or lookup — never by exact text — to prevent silent failures.
• Build error handling so every failed hand-off produces a visible, actionable message rather than disappearing.
• Implement the automation behind scheduling (driven by circuit commit dates), at-risk flagging, and the completion gate that blocks incomplete orders from moving downstream.
• Support multi-product, multi-address orders and the many-to-many link between shared circuits and orders.
• Evaluate and apply AI agents where they genuinely help — for example, automating repetitive coordination steps, drafting or validating order data, or triaging exceptions — while keeping a human in the loop where it matters.
• Test, document, and help maintain what you build.

What you need

• Working understanding of REST APIs — requests, responses, authentication, status codes, JSON.
• Some programming experience (coursework, internship, personal projects, or prior role) in any modern language.
• Practical familiarity with AI tools and agents: what an AI agent is, how it calls tools and APIs, and a realistic sense of where it helps and where it doesn't.
• Solid grasp of data: relationships between records, why ID matching beats string matching, why clean error handling matters.
• Platform-flexible — able to learn whatever CRM or build platform we adopt rather than depending on one specific tool.
• Careful, detail-oriented, and a clear communicator.

Helpful, not required

• Experience with any CRM or low-code platform (open-source, Zoho, or commercial).
• Exposure to order management, CRM, or Sales-to-Cash / order-to-cash systems.
• Experience wiring AI agents to APIs, or building automations that call external services.
• SQL or general database experience.
• Any telecom, ISP, or field-service background.

Why it matters

Business orders slip today because dependencies and hand-offs are tracked by hand. The integration you build is what makes the system trustworthy — complete orders flow through, problems surface early, and nothing fails silently. This role sits at the seam that has been missing, and it's where APIs and AI agents can do the most good.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
