About the Role
Execute Controls VPI Checklist and Swim Lane.
Responsibilities
- ECM, Sensors, Actuators, Software, Calibrations, Integration, Tuning, Testing, Releasing.
- Own Engine Program(s) i.e. – QSK95 Uprate
- Train up from ~ July – September
- Lead Program Oct.
- Lead Controls Coordination Meeting
- Attend other relevant meetings
- Provide Updates for Software Design Review Leader
- Base Controls Calibration Integration, Tuning, and Validation
- Coordinate and Integrate calibrations from Subsystem Teams
- Coordinate with Test Team
- Coordinate with Electronic Systems Integration Team to Release Software/Calibrations at E/D/L/P Phase.

- Digital, HIL, SIL
- Test Cell Testing
- Field Testing/Support
- Provide Documentation
- Architecture
- Schedules
- Test Plans
- Technical Reports
Qualifications
A Hands-On position including ECM Software Calibration & Tuning (Insite, Calterm, CDM), Validation (Bench (Digital, SIL, HIL)), Test Cell (Engine), possibly Field Testing, architectural diagrams, technical documentation, etc.
Required Skills
Would report to me and be a Controls Lead for an Engine Platform and/or Program and complete all the VPI/LPD Controls Technical Tasks.
Preferred Skills
This would be either 100% of time or 80% in which would Lead multiple engine programs (Platform Leader/Engine Displacement) and 20% directing supporting team members on programs to ensure meeting tasks/schedule.
