Senior Technical Product Owner [80296]

Onward Search is seeking a Senior Technical Product Owner for a remote, 6-month contract opportunity with a leading organization at the intersection of technology and healthcare.

In this role, you’ll help drive the success of Iris, a cutting-edge generative AI product that creates patient and health education content. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to define product direction, scale data ingestion, and expand API capabilities — helping shape the next generation of intelligent healthcare solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as the bridge between business, engineering, and design teams to ensure product excellence.
• Translate business goals into clear, actionable technical requirements and user stories.
• Lead agile product development efforts across the full lifecycle.
• Perform cost-benefit and risk analysis for product decisions.
• Evaluate third-party solution architectures and oversee system integrations.
• Drive innovation through continuous improvement and data-driven insights.

What We’re Looking For

• 5 years of relevant technical product ownership experience (or 9 years without a degree).
• Proven experience delivering complex, scalable technology products.
• Strong understanding of data ingestion, APIs, and system integration.
• Scrum Product Owner Certification (required within 1 year).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Bonus Points For

• Experience with Generative AI, Agentic AI, or Chatbots.
• Background in Healthcare or familiarity with EPIC API systems.
