Title: Search Performance Manager (Retail Media / Paid Search)
Location: On-site in Hoboken 5 days a week (NO REMOTE CANDIDATES!!)
Contract: Temp / W2, 40 hrs a week (9am–6pm EST)
Duration: 8-9 months with a strong chance to extend and potential to convert to direct hire.
Pay Range: $48–$54/hr
About the role
We’re partnering with an eCommerce client to hire a Search Performance Manager to help analyze, optimize, and scale paid search campaigns for 1st-party suppliers. This is a highly analytical, performance-focused role where you’ll turn campaign data into clear insights and optimization recommendations that drive revenue and advertiser success.
You’ll work cross-functionally with Sales, Account Management, Campaign Management, and Ad Tech/API partners to deliver measurable results and contribute feedback that supports ongoing product improvements.
What you’ll do
- Analyze and optimize paid search campaigns to hit marketing objectives and revenue goals
- Build and execute search strategies aligned to best practices and advertiser KPIs
- Manage budgets and bids to improve efficiency and return on ad spend (ROAS)
- Optimize campaign structure, account configuration, and keyword targeting
- Run recurring and ad hoc reporting; identify trends and opportunities
- Translate performance data into actionable recommendations and data-driven narratives
- Partner with internal stakeholders to support advertiser success and campaign execution
- Collaborate with technical partners (API/Ad Tech) and share insights to improve performance and product experience
What we’re looking for
- Strong paid search experience (performance marketing mindset)
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills (reporting, analysis, presentations)
- Strong data storytelling—able to explain “what happened, why, and what to do next”
- Experience optimizing performance-driven media campaigns in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Retail media / marketplace advertising experience is a plus
