Overview
The Media Sales Planner will play a key role within the Revenue Management division, supporting sales efforts by managing a dedicated book of business and ensuring effective execution of advertising campaigns. This position involves overseeing the RFP process from proposal through order entry, implementing pricing strategies, maintaining sales pipelines, and collaborating across departments to maximize delivery, optimize client campaigns, and provide reporting support. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Pay: $30 - $35/hr, paid weekly, benefits eligible
Media Sales Planner Requirements
- 2 years of professional experience, preferably in media sales planning or buying; linear media experience strongly preferred but can be digital and broadcast mix
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative Ad Sales environment
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and problem-solve effectively in fast-paced settings
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and the broader Microsoft Suite
- Knowledge of media math and terminology preferred
- Familiarity with Operative One and the TV/media landscape advantageous
- Positive, proactive attitude with enthusiasm for learning and taking on new responsibilities
Media Sales Planner Duties
- Manage a dedicated book of business, overseeing the RFP process from proposal generation to order entry across assigned brands and verticals
- Partner with Sales and Revenue Management to apply packaging and pricing strategies, ensuring adherence to rate cards and guidelines
- Maintain and update the sales pipeline in collaboration with Sales teams
- Process budget revisions including incremental spend, optimizations, makegoods, and cancellations
- Collaborate with Ad Ops, Inventory Analytics, Streaming Solutions, and Measurement Solutions to address client requests and enhance Sales proposals
- Partner with Ad Ops to ensure smooth campaign execution, maximize delivery against contracted goals, and provide accurate client reporting
- Work with Finance to support billing processes
- Communicate with agency contacts to deliver RFP responses and address ad hoc requests
- Identify and recommend improvements to pre-sale processes and operational workflows
- Support client meetings by preparing and reviewing account-specific and industry insights
