We’re looking for an Instructional Designer to design, develop, and implement high-quality learning solutions that support Lines of Business (LOBs), Regions, and Corporate/Support Functions. This person will partner closely with internal stakeholders to build engaging, compliant, and accessible training content across multiple modalities.
6-months contract extend
Onsite 5 days per week in midtown
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement learning solutions using instructional design principles and adult learning theory to support LOBs, Regions, and Corporate/Support Functions.
- Create interactive and innovative instructional materials, including learning objectives, storyboards, assessments, and compliance training content across multiple formats (e.g., videos, microlearning, interactive PDFs, e-learning).
- Ensure all e-learning courses and training materials meet Section 508 accessibility standards and align with industry regulations and company policies.
- Use authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline 360) and Learning Management Systems (LMS) to design, build, and deliver instructional materials.
- Apply instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) to create engaging and effective learning experiences.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to understand objectives and requirements for compliance training solutions and translate them into clear learning deliverables.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning & Development, Communications, or a related field
- 3 years of experience designing and developing e-learning and instructional content in a corporate or enterprise environment
- Strong knowledge of instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) and adult learning principles
- Hands-on experience creating interactive learning assets (e-learning modules, videos, microlearning, assessments, storyboards)
- Proficiency with authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline 360 (or similar) and experience working within Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Working knowledge of Section 508 / accessibility standards and ability to build compliant training materials
- Experience developing compliance or regulatory training programs
- Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to translate business requirements into effective learning solutions
- Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills
