We’re seeking a Director, Social Media & Content to support a dynamic entertainment team. This role is based in our client's office location and is classified as Temp / Contractor, lasting around 5 months. The position offers an exciting opportunity to lead social media campaigns supporting TV and streaming media programming and engage with high-profile events and influencer marketing.
Director, Social Media & Content Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead innovative social media campaigns aligned with brand strategies and show branding.
- Oversee content creation, publishing, and community management for assigned shows.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and creative partners throughout campaign development and execution.
- Manage influencer marketing efforts, including identifying creators, negotiating rates, and coordinating content posting.
- Monitor analytics and performance metrics to optimize audience engagement and growth.
Director, Social Media & Content Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience directly in digital or social media marketing at a managerial level ("Manager" "Director" etc.) or higher.
- Strong creative instincts with excellent writing and content development skills.
- Deep understanding of current social media platforms, especially TikTok and Instagram, including emerging features.
- Proficiency across Mac, PC, iOS, Android, and web applications.
- Experience with entertainment or related industries and a proven track record managing campaigns and teams.
