Communications Operations Manager [80677]

Onward Search is seeking an Operations Communications Manager for our pharmaceutical client to develop and execute strategic communications that support key Operations initiatives, including Operations Transformation. This role partners closely with VP-level leaders to shape their voice, elevate executive visibility, and deliver clear, compelling storytelling across channels.

40 hrs/week | 9 a.m.–5 p.m. | One year contract- potential to extend. Hybrid- 3 days on-site. Benefits available during the contract period.

Pharmaceutical experience preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create multi-channel content: presentations, internal emails, feature articles, social content, and video.
• Build and manage strategic communications plans with clear objectives and timelines.
• Collaborate directly with executives to craft authentic messaging aligned with business priorities.
• Lead digital storytelling efforts, including creative video and employee-focused content.
• Coordinate with external agencies and manage cross-functional communications projects.
• Ensure all communications align with AbbVie’s brand standards and corporate strategy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in PR, Communications, Journalism, Integrated Marketing, or related field.
• 8 years of communications experience; healthcare/biopharma a plus.
• Strong writing, storytelling, digital content, and project management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
