We’re looking to hire an Associate Director, External Communications for our client who is a provider of Financial Information, Analytics, and Energy and Commodities Intelligence.
- This is a 6 months opportunity.
- 40 hour per week.
- The role is located in New York, NY and is hybrid onsite 2x a week.
- Hourly Pay: $62-$68 hr.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Head of Communications, you will work with Key US/Americas Stakeholders to support Media Relations and External Communication efforts including press releases and key index announcements.
- Monitor media, news stories, crisis communications support, respond to key financial and markets reporters in timely manner.
- Advise Senior Leaders and Stakeholders on critical communications issues.
- Contribute to Internal Communications initiatives where appropriate.
Requirements:
- 8 years of Communications experience, with significant focus on External Communications, preferably in the Financial Services Markets Industry.
- Strong writing skills, ability to easily build relationships and inspire trust and confidence from Senior Leaders.
- Experience working globally in a large multinational, matrix environment.
- Ability to develop KPIs to measure success and use data and insights to inform communications decisions, influence Stakeholders and demonstrate results.
- Bachelor’s Degree - Communications, Journalism, Marketing or Business.
