We are looking for educators who thrive in a collaborative, student-centered environment. High school Special Education leave coverage starting April 13. Position includes teaching two sections of English and supporting an academic assistance class. No responsibility for PPTs nor grading.
Position Details:
- Location: Norfolk County, CT.

- Caseload: 2 classes of English and supporting an academic assistance class
Responsibilities:
- Provide in?class instruction for two high school English sections following existing plans and curriculum.
- Support students in an academic assistance class, reinforcing skills and helping students stay engaged and on task.
- Work collaboratively with existing staff (general education teachers, counselors, case managers) to ensure continuity during the leave coverage.
- Supervise and support students during scheduled class periods, maintaining a positive and structured learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education, or related field.
- Connecticut Special Education K-12 Endorsement is required.
