What are the responsibilities and job description for the Local Class A Distribution Driver position at Onward Freight?
We are looking for a motivated Local Class A Distribution Driver to deliver product to clients; inspect general condition of vehicle; prepare, load, unload, operate, and clean vehicle including following all safety precautions. Duties of the Class A Distribution driver include delivering alcohol to bars, restaurants, and hotels; load and unload cargo The ideal candidate should have a Class A CDL license, route delivery experience and at least one year of Class A driving experience. If you have previous experience with a Class A license, we’d like to meet you.
Responsibilities:
v Will deliver alcohol to bars, restaurants, and hotels
v Will load and unload trailer. HEAVY touch is required
v Receive payments for goods delivered
v Tuesday – Friday ONLY
v Will start around 5am - 7am and make about 15-20 stops per day
Requirements:
v Class A license
v 1 year of driving experience
v Current medical card
v Ability to handle physical demands
