Position Summary
ONV Transit and Freight LLC is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Receiving Associate to join our operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving incoming shipments, verifying deliveries, organizing inventory, and ensuring freight is processed accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Verify shipment quantities against packing lists and receiving documents.
- Unload deliveries and transport materials to designated storage locations.
- Label, organize, and stock inventory following company procedures.
- Report damaged, missing, or incorrect items to supervisors.
- Maintain accurate receiving records using inventory management systems.
- Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock replenishment.
- Keep receiving and storage areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as authorized.
- Follow all company safety standards and operational procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
- Previous warehouse, receiving, or logistics experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the workday.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer and data entry skills.
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
