Ontrack Transport is currently looking to hire 3 drivers to join our professional team to transport passengers to and from medical appointments. We are looking for drivers who are interested in working long-term and who are fully dedicated. The potential candidates must be highly motivated, demonstrate excellent patient care and communication skills. The candidates must be able to work in a professional manner with staff and co-workers and must be energetic, highly proactive, empathetic, reliable, and detail oriented.

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate wheelchair equipped vehicles to transport passengers to their destinations
- Load and unload passengers safely and secure wheelchairs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate member pick up and drop off and resolve any issues or concerns.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules for efficient and timely delivery.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe transportation.
- Fuel vehicle daily
- Provide short and long-distance trips
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure proper functioning and report any issues or maintenance needs.
- Adhere to schedule and routes
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding safety protocols, vehicle maintenance, and customer service.
- Must demonstrate good judgement and decision-making skills
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Have zero points on your Florida driver's license in the past 3 years
- Must have at least 2 years of driving experience as a licensed driver
- Must be at least 25 years old (Required by commercial insurance company)
- Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
- Loading and unloading wheelchair vans
- Knowledge of GPS.
- Ability to learn and utilize company software
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers, dispatchers, and team members effectively.
- Ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with passengers and clients.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist passengers with mobility devices as needed` heavy objects, if required for the job
- Able to work mornings as early as 6:00 AM
