Location: 5959 Randolph St, Commerce, CA 90040
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Shift: Monday to Friday - 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
- 3 years or greater related experience and/or training in mechanical and electrical equipment.
- High voltage electrical experience is required.
- Current Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Ensure proper operation of conveyor systems and material handling equipment to keep our operations running smoothly, responding in a timely manner to all material handling systems breakdowns.
- Maintain and provide routine preventive maintenance to conveyor systems.
- Change and repair parts of conveyor systems, rebuild and align equipment, gears, shafts, pulleys, and belts.
- Use illustrated parts breakdown manuals and operational manuals in the repair, modification, and maintenance of equipment.
- Perform housekeeping duties, including work area clean-up, conveyor and equipment clean-up, and other general housekeeping duties as assigned.
- Daily Inspections of machinery for potential problems.
- From time to time, you may be called in after hours to ensure our MHS (conveyor) systems are working at optimum capacity.
- Maintain and contribute to a safe work environment by adhering to policies and procedures as outlined in the Company Safety Program.
- Ability to learn and follow all safety regulations and job instructions to perform job duties.
- Use of company tools and ability to purchase new tools as needed.
- Knowledge of Material Handling Systems (MHS), industrial conveyor systems and controls in distribution/shipping/sorting environments, VFDs, Electronic motors (480V)
- Knowledge of LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out), PMs (Preventative Maintenance), and 3-Phase electrical work.
- Ability to read and understand schematics and electrical blueprints.
- Mechanical and or electrical work experience required.
- Knowledge of OSHA requirements
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate 24-hour operations; occasionally work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to lift 60 pounds on a routine basis.
