Employment Logistics:
Location: 9774 Calabash Ave. Fontana, CA 92335
Pay: $34.65 - $42.35/hour (DOE)
Shift(S): Monday-Thursday, 5:00am to 3:30pm

The Must-Haves:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
- 3 yrs or greater, related experience and/or training in mechanical and electrical equipment; or equivalent combination of both education and specific work experience.
- Welding experience is required
- Current Driver's License and clean driving record
Your Mission in Motion:
- Ensure proper operation of conveyor systems, and material handling equipment to keep our operations running smoothly, responding in a timely manner to all material handling systems breakdowns.
- Maintain and provide routine preventive maintenance to conveyor systems.
- Change and repair parts of conveyor systems, rebuild and align equipment, gears, shafts, pulleys, and belts
- Use illustrated parts breakdown manuals and operational manuals in the repair, modification, and maintenance of equipment.
- Perform housekeeping duties, including work area clean-up, conveyor and equipment clean-up, and other general housekeeping duties as assigned.
- Daily Inspections of machinery for potential problems
- From time to time, you may be called in after hours to ensure our MHS (conveyor) systems are working at optimum capacity.
- Maintain and contribute to a safe work environment by adhering to policies and procedures as outlined in the Company Safety Program.
- Most of the work is performed independently, but from time to time you will need to tap the shoulder of another OnTrac maintenance member, we work as a team!
Paving your way to your success:
- Ability to learn and follow all safety regulations and job instructions to perform primary duties
- Knowledge of Material Handling Systems (MHS), industrial conveyor systems and controls in distribution/shipping/sorting environments, VFDs, Electronic motors (480V)
- Knowledge of LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out), PMs (Preventative Maintenance), and 3-Phase electrical work.
- Ability to read and understand schematics and electrical blueprints
- Mechanical and or electrical work experience
- Industrial electrical knowledge a PLUS
- Knowledge of OSHA requirements
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate 24-hour operations; occasionally work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to lift 60 pounds on a routine basis
- Good time management skills and ability to work independently and as a team member
