Technical Lead .NET Developer

OVERVIEW

OnTrac is seeking a Technical Lead .NET Developer to own enterprise .NET applications for a financial-services customer in Las Vegas. This is a hands-on lead role: application ownership, solutioning, production troubleshooting, and leading a distributed onsite and offshore development team. You will diagnose and resolve complex production issues, support and enhance existing and legacy applications, drive technical improvements, and communicate clearly with business and technology stakeholders. This role is ideal for a self-starter who takes ownership and can work independently as the onsite lead.

• Duration: long term; full-time or contract

• Location: Las Vegas, NV — onsite Monday to Friday

• You must be located in, or willing to relocate to, the Las Vegas area, and authorized to work in the United States

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the design, development, enhancement, and support of enterprise .NET applications

• Own production troubleshooting, incident resolution, root cause analysis, and technical escalations

• Provide hands-on support for complex production issues and drive them to resolution

• Provide technical solutioning for business requirements, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance

• Act as the technical point of contact for business and technology stakeholders

• Lead and coordinate a distributed onsite and offshore development team

• Analyze existing applications and identify technical and architectural improvements

• Apply engineering and architecture best practices to build scalable, highly available systems

• Mentor developers on system design, coding standards, and engineering practices

• Identify technical bottlenecks and risks and recommend solutions

• Lead code reviews and ensure the quality of technical deliverables

• Estimate development effort and support planning and on-time delivery

• Work closely with QA, Product, and other technology teams through development, deployment, and production support

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree, plus 12 years of IT experience after completing it

• 8 years of software development with strong hands-on C#, .NET, and .NET Core

• 3 years as a Technical Lead or Lead Developer

• Strong hands-on production troubleshooting and application support, including RCA and technical escalations

• Experience supporting and maintaining enterprise and legacy applications in production

• .NET Core, Web API, REST APIs, and microservices

• Designing and implementing distributed systems

• Strong SQL and relational database experience

• Cloud environments and Agile/Scrum delivery

• Software architecture patterns, object-oriented design, and testing principles

• Leading and coordinating onsite and offshore teams

• Strong communication with business and technical stakeholders

USEFUL QUALIFICATIONS

• Banking, payments, or financial-services experience

• Experience modernizing legacy .NET Framework applications
