What You’ll Do
- AI-Driven Transformation: Lead the integration of AI-augmented solutions across the Finance organization to enhance efficiency and productivity by minimizing manual workflows.
- Solution Prototype and Deployment: Rapidly prototype solutions using AI-assisted development techniques and deploy production-grade automation to streamline finance processes.
- Systems Integration: Facilitate the smooth integration of core finance systems and the tech stack into a unified, automated operational framework.
- Opportunity Mapping & Rapid Prototyping: Partner directly with Finance team members to identify high-effort manual workflows and rapidly deploy AI-augmented prototypes that deliver immediate operational transformation.
- Collaborative Development: Maintain regular communication with Finance leadership, including SVP Finance and sub-team leads, to align on priorities and progress while ensuring solutions meet departmental needs.
- Discovery and Execution Balance: Lead discovery and solution building, with an early emphasis on analysis and a later emphasis on deploying scalable solutions.
- Experience Requirement: 8 years of experience in a relevant technical and finance-related role.
- Technical Builder: Hands-on builder who can go from idea to production quickly. Comfortable building full-stack automations across a range of technologies (e.g., Ruby, Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript), with strong backend and data (SQL) skills. Proven track record of creating integrations and internal tools, leveraging AI/LLM APIs to drive efficiency.
- Finance Systems Expertise: Direct hands-on experience with at least one enterprise ERP or finance-related technology, as well as knowledge of financial data flow and building or maintaining system integrations.
- Autonomous Operator: Capable of independently translating verbal direction and ambiguous business needs into effective technical execution plans without requiring detailed specifications or external management.
- Operational Fluency & Domain Context: Deep curiosity for how Finance teams actually work. Familiarity with tools like BillingPlatform, NetSuite ARM, and Salesforce. A background in finance or accounting, such as a former CPA or FP&A analyst, is advantageous, as is direct experience working within a Finance or Accounting organization.
