A Day in the Life
As a Full-Time Laboratory Assistant based in our Orange, CA Laboratory, you’ll step into the lab where every detail matters. You'll play a key role in prepping and handling samples, keeping records accurate, and maintaining a clean laboratory to support on-time results everyday. You’ll collaborate with a strong team of committed professionals, contribute to meaningful scientific work, and grow your expertise in a dynamic, quality-driven environment.
The compensation range for this role is $17.00 - $20.00, commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location.
Department: Sample Receiving / PUSH Team
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2nd Shift (2:00 pm - 10:30 pm)

To thrive in this role, you’ll be comfortable taking ownership of the following responsibilities:
- Preparing and weighing samples for digestion or extraction as needed (includes but is not limited to: weighing soils, making composites, crushing samples, incremental sampling, product sampling, etc)
- Data entry
- Facility housekeeping/maintenance
- Perform support tasks as needed
- Comply with Enthalpy’s Quality Assurance Program and other policies
- Comply with Enthalpy’s Health and Safety Plan
- Other duties as assigned by the Group Leader or Lab Director

- High School Diploma
- Basic laboratory techniques (knowledge of PPE, use of balance, pipetting, glassware handling, etc)
- Basic Excel skills required
- Must have ability to follow directions and work in a team setting
- Must be comfortable working with strong acids and solvents
- Excellent communication skills required
- Detail oriented
- Prior Laboratory experience preferred but not required as this is an entry level position
- Knowledge of analytical method, analytical instruments, general lab practices and lab safety
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Good organizational skills
