About the Role:
As an Armed Patrol Officer at Ontel Security Services, Inc., you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients' properties and personnel. Your duties will include conducting patrols, responding to alarms, and maintaining a visible security presence to deter criminal activity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct vehicle patrols of client properties to maintain a secure environment.
- Respond to ATM standbys, commercial, and residential alarms promptly and efficiently.
- Notate activities and incidents in the Mobile Data Computer (MDC) for accurate reporting.
- Maintain a visible security presence to deter criminal activity.
- Handle incidents of loitering, trespassing, vandalism, or other unlawful activity on site according to company policies.
- Respond to alarms and emergencies, collaborating with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional security presence.
Requirements:
- Age: 18 years or older
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Certification: Current California Guard Card and Firearm Permit
- Language Skills: Fluent in English (bi-lingual is a plus, but English is the priority)
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in armed security desired but not required
Pay During Training:
- While on Field Training Officer (FTO): $20.00 per hour. (10 working days) If remedial training is needed, the rate will stay at $20.00 per hour. Must clear FTO program.
- After clearing FTO: $21.00 - $23.17 per hour.
