Job Summary
We are an Ophthalmology clinic in Ontario, Oregon. We provide everything from eye exams to emergency eye care. We are willing to train a motivated and friendly Billing Person/ Receptionist who has a good attitude and is willing to learn. The ideal candidate will be an integral part of our business office team providing exceptional customer service. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.
Responsibilities
- Post patient and insurance payments and charges accurately and efficiently
- Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls appropriately and taking messages when necessary.
- Schedule appointments and collect co-pays.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and maintain organized filing systems.
- Provide customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Assist with administrative tasks as required to support office management.
Skills
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus for effective communication with diverse clientele.
- Strong customer service orientation with effective phone etiquette.
- Capable of managing time efficiently while handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
