Position Overview
We are seeking a Logistics Operations Manager with a strong operational mindset to lead, coordinate, and continuously improve end-to-end logistics activities. This role is ideal for former military leaders who excel in mission execution, resource management, and leading diverse teams in fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily logistics operations to ensure on-time, on-budget, and mission-ready execution
- Plan and execute high-volume distribution operations with strict time, cost, and quality requirements
- Manage and develop frontline supervisors and operational team; establish clear expectations, accountability, and performance standards
- Translate strategic objectives into operational plans and execution timelines
- Monitor KPIs, readiness metrics, and cost controls; implement continuous process improvement
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external partners to remove operational obstacles
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards
- Identify operational risks and develop contingency and mitigation plans

Qualifications

- Strong planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Experience using operational data to drive performance
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills
- Bachelors degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
