What are the responsibilities and job description for the OR RN Surgicare (65251) position at ONSLOW MEMORIAL HOSPITAL?
Responsible for immediately assessing each individual patient upon admission to OR addressing biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, educational, discharge planning factors and significant other/family support as appropriate.
Assesses and reassess patients on an ongoing basis, identifying patient needs/problems, nursing interventions. Develops individualized plans of nursing care for patients in the intraoperative setting and which meets the identified needs of each patient
Qualifications:Education/Certifications:
- Graduation from accredited School of Nursing.
- Current unencumbered North Carolina RN License.
- BLS certification upon hire
- ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire.
- NCI certification within 90 days of hire.
Experience:
- One-two years of clinical experience in Operating room required.
