What are the responsibilities and job description for the MRI Tech (72166) position at ONSLOW MEMORIAL HOSPITAL?
Performs MR imaging by demonstrating anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention by, or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Exercises professional judgement in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics. Available for call as requested. Applies appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure. Shift is Saturday and Sunday 8a-830p.
Qualifications:Education/Certification:
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology or registry eligible If eligible for ARRT(R), must acquire ARRT(R) within specified guidelines of ARRT. Then, must achieve ARRT(R)(MRI) within 18 months of hire.
BLS required.
Experience:
Prefer at least 1 year of MRI experience.
