Provides direct care to patients. Responsible for assessment, medication administration, carrying out provider orders, evaluating their effect, documenting care provided and communicating with the care team. Provides care in adherence to all hospital policies and accreditation standards. 

Qualifications:

 Education/Certification:

  • Graduation from accredited school of nursing.
  • Current North Carolina RN License.
  • BLS upon hire
  • NRP Certification within 6 months for Nursery and L&D
  • PALS Certification within 6 months for Peds/ICU/ER  
  • ACLS within 6 months for ICU/ IMCU/Tele, and ER  
  • NCI Certification within 90 days
  • NIH Certification within 90 days ER/IMCU/ICU

Experience:

  • 1 year of experience preferred
