Maintenance Mechanic

Overview: Maintenance Mechanic:The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for handling the electrical and mechanical projects for our facilities including equipment troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance.This position runs Monday - Friday, with the following shifts:2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AMMEASURES OF SUCCESS: Maintenance Mechanic:Troubleshoots and repairs various manufacturing equipment.Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.Uses power and hand tools to perform repair and maintenance work.Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, and manufacturer's instructions.Install, set up, and tune new injection molding machines or similar plastic molding systems. May install and maintain fixtures and facilities.Services equipment used by oiling, greasing, and adding gas as required.Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries.Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.Other duties as assigned.IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES: Maintenance Mechanic:Preferred two or more years of experience as an industrial mechanic.Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and schematics.Skill in applying building and equipment maintenance/repair techniques.Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.Ability to work overtime with a flex schedule on the weekends.Requires some pushing, pulling, or lifting of objects up to 50 pounds.Onsite Personnel is an equal opportunity employer committed to hiring a diverse workforce in an inclusive culture environment.
