Pay: $19/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
We are seeking a fast, accurate, and detail-oriented Scanning Operator to support our document processing and mail operations team. This position functions as an Inbound/Outbound Mail Processor, handling high-volume scanning, indexing, and mail distribution in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role
The Scanning Operator (Inbound/Outbound Mail Processor) is responsible for retrieving batches from the system, scanning and indexing documents, and processing all incoming and outgoing mail. The ideal candidate is efficient, focused, and able to work independently once trained.
Responsibilities
- Retrieve and process document batches from the system
- Verify batch information and ensure all cover sheets are accurate
- Sort, scan, and index documents according to category, policy, or company number
- Remove unclear or incorrect pages prior to indexing
- Complete and submit final batches with a high level of accuracy
- Process inbound and outbound mail, including sorting, routing, and client deliveries
- Operate scanners, mail equipment, and other processing tools
- Support special projects or miscellaneous tasks assigned by management
- Uphold OMG’s Standards of Excellence at all times
Additional Responsibilities May Include:
- Collecting, sorting, and distributing mail
- Operating mailroom and scanning machinery
- Completing tasks related to client or management requests
- Participating in cross-training for additional service areas
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and accurately
- Intermediate computer skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and follow written and verbal instructions
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision after training
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Manual dexterity to operate scanners, mail equipment, and office machinery
- Fine and gross motor skills for grasping and carrying materials
