Our Opportunity:
We are actively interviewing compassionate and motivated psychiatric nurse practitioners to perform consultations in various environments including nursing homes and assisted living facilities. A qualified provider willing to see patients in the UpState area. OnSite medical and mental health providers can build an autonomous practice while making a positive impact on the lives of older adults and their families. As psychiatric nurse practitioners working at OnSite you will be provided full administrative support and clinical mentorship with a team approach. Requirements:
Round at assigned facilities and manage the psychiatric and mental health needs of this fragile population.
Work closely and collaboratively with the OnSite team, nursing home staff, residents, and families.
Proactively follow up with patients and assess the efficacy of recommended interventions.
Provide education on best practices.
Integrate pharmacological and behavioral interventions, emphasizing non-pharmacological treatments whenever possible.
The Candidate:
Master of Science in Nursing with a PMHNP certification
Active License in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, or Tennessee depending on location
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Strong patient assessment skills.
Strong, ambitious, patient-centric work ethic.
Strong Mental Health Background
Active License or Able to obtain in South Carolina
