What are the responsibilities and job description for the Team Lead Wellness Screeners - PRN - Fingerstick Events in August position at Onsite Health Diagnostics?
We are hiring for specific fingerstick screening events taking place through the month of August in Lewis Run, PA, but if hired, there will be other PRN employment opportunities with the company in the area throughout the rest of the year.
These events will be 3 days a week and the shifts will be 4 hours a day.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF TEAM LEAD:
- Perform fingerstick collection, and other measurements such as height, weight, blood pressure, BMI, and waist circumference as requested by clients.
- Adhere to Onsite Health Diagnostics' screening policies and procedures.
- Train locally hired technicians on the morning of the screening event, covering OHD policies, procedures, and proper use of equipment.
- Set up the screening room before the event, which may involve lifting 50-pound totes, unpacking, moving tables and chairs, and verifying that all necessary supplies are present.
- Make on-the-spot decisions to enhance service levels for clients, such as adjusting team members' roles, ensuring smooth workflow, and addressing client suggestions.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Certified Medical Assistant or Certified Phlebotomy Technician.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in capillary puncture and venipuncture.
- Minimum 1 year experience working Biometric Screening events.
- Direct hands-on experience with the Cardiocheck system for analyzing lipid panels and glucose levels.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
- Ability to manage multiple, competing tasks.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This role may require travel to and from screening events. We reimburse for mileage after 50 miles round trip. You must be able to lift up to 50-pound totes, move tables and chairs, and maintain flexibility to work a varied schedule during the week. Remote administrative tasks are also required to support the screening season throughout the year.
