Schedule & Working Hours:

This is a PRN position, you would work on an on-call/as-needed basis, filling in when we need coverage at our clinic in Memphis, Tennessee. There are no guaranteed hours or required shifts, but we are looking for someone with considerable availability during clinic hours.

This would be an ideal position for someone looking for flexible PRN/part-time work during the week.

The clinic is open during the following times:

• Monday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Tuesday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Wednesday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Thursday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Friday: 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Job description:

OnSite Care is looking for an exceptional PRN Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in Memphis. The ideal candidate is someone who is seeking to provide exceptional primary care to employees and their families for all health problems, check-ups, or other health care needs. Our providers are not compensated based on RVUs, production requirements, or quotas. We do not see Medicare/Medicaid patients.

Basic job duties include:

• Assessing and treating a wide range of illnesses and injuries, as well as providing vaccinations and preventative care.
• Treating patients with common acute conditions, illnesses, or minor traumas.
• Monitoring of chronic conditions, i.e., blood pressure checks, glucose monitoring, etc.
• Ensuring compliance with standards of care and practice in accordance with all established policies, procedures, and guidelines used in a medical treatment facility.
• Referring patients to correct medical specialists or other practitioners when necessary.
• Assist patients to increase knowledge of specific conditions through individual and/or group educational opportunities.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted state NP/PA License and Federal DEA Registration are required.
• 3-5 years Family Practice experience preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a bonus.
• BLS/ACLS Certification is required.
