Onsight Healthcare has been retained to support shuttle operations at W.V.U. Medicine in Morgantown West Virginia!

Part-Time Position | $16/hour Tips | Monday - Friday | Weekends Off!

Shift Details

• Part-Time Employees will work the morning shift listed below and may have opportunities to pick up additional shifts up to 25 hours/week
• The morning shift will be a set schedule, working five days weekly Monday - Friday

Part-Time Shuttle Team Operating Hours - Morning Shift

• Monday – Friday
• 5:30am - 9:00am

Minimum Requirements

• Over the age of 21 years old
• Eligible to work for any U.S. Employer
• High school Diploma or GED
• Possess a valid active in-state regular driver's license (Restricted Permit or Probationary License not accepted )
• At least 1 year of shuttle/bus driver experience with a strong, personable, customer-centric approach required
• Being a safe and responsible driver, following all traffic laws and regulations
• Maintained a clean driving record for the past 5 years as an active driver
• A CDL License is not required but is a plus!

Key Responsibilities 

When shuttling guests

• Maintain a friendly and helpful demeanor, providing a positive experience to everyone you interact with
• Greet and welcome patient, visitors, and staff to the healthcare facility
• Answer questions on office or department locations and provide directions
• Follow a planned route, making scheduled and on-demand stops to pick up or drop off patients, visitors, and hospital staff
• Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, including those with mobility challenges and/or luggage & medical equipment
• Use apps/technology daily to maintain operational efficiency and logistics for assigned shuttle route
• Ensure the shuttle bus is clean and in good working order, performing routine checks and reporting any issues
• Complete pre-shift and end-shift safety checks and document any damage or other required information 

When not shuttle driving for guests

• Greet and welcome guests to the healthcare facility and provide directions to offices or departments if necessary
• Assist in maintaining a clean, welcoming, and professional work environment inside and outside of shuttle 
• Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor with all patients, guests, staff and team members

About You…

You have excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-focused mindset. You know how to de-escalate difficult situations, and how to keep a calm and composed attitude in a fast-paced environment.

You are well-spoken, professional, and able to uphold an exceptional level of integrity and customer service while working.

You are over the age of 21, possess a valid state driver's license with a clean driving record, and have the physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift moderate weights while working in an outdoor environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Greet patients, visitors, and staff with a consistently warm friendly demeanor, showing compassion and empathy to everyone you interact with
• Provide exceptional Shuttle services, ensuring the safety and security of people and their belongings
• Support and work in a team environment to meet all metrics that strengthen the client relationship with Onsight Healthcare.
• Assist individuals with mobility challenges and luggage & medical equipment boarding and disembarking the shuttle
• Use apps/technology daily to maintain operational efficiency and logistics
• Efficiently manage shuttle logistics adhering to all site requirements and assigned routes, as well as abiding by all traffic codes at all times
• Provide accurate directions and helpful information about the hospital facilities
• Effectively build relationships with hospital staff, patients, guests, and team members
• Actively maintain a clean and professional work environment and ensure the shuttle bus is clean and in good working order, performing routine checks and reporting any issues
• Complete pre-shift and end-shift safety checks and document any damage or other required information 
• Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

• Over the age of 21 years old
• Eligible to work for any U.S. Employer
• High school Diploma or GED required
• Possess a valid in-state driver's license (Limited Permit And Probationary License not accepted)
• Maintained a clean driving record for the past 5 years as an active driver
• Work with professionalism, integrity, and compassion, supporting your team, and positively representing Onsight Healthcare throughout the facility
• Work well independently and as part of a team
• Operate apps/technology on a tablet, and learn new software that is required to complete daily tasks
• Move with care, urgency and speed while prioritizing competing tasks in a fast-paced environment and paying attention to surroundings and details
• Work in a sitting position, driving for the entire shift time
• Safely and physically able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Speak, read, and write Standard English (Bi-lingual not required but a plus!)
• Effectively able to build relationships with your team and others in a professional manner
• Ability to walk, stand, push, and pull items while showing empathy and professionalism in the workplace
