onsemi is seeking a Lithography Technician (Day 2 Shift) for the Hopewell Junction site. This role supports the operation, maintenance, and reliability of lithography equipment within a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
The Lithography Technician is responsible for ensuring continuous production by maintaining and troubleshooting lithography process equipment, scanners, steppers, tracks, and supporting systems. This position plays a critical role in minimizing downtime and supporting overall factory throughput.
The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and experienced in working with semiconductor manufacturing equipment in a high-tech manufacturing setting. Success in this role requires a strong commitment to safety, 5S principles, and operational excellence, along with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, 24/7 production environment.
Schedule
Day 2 Shift: Every other Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Sign-on Bonus: $5,000

QUALIFICATIONS
Hourly: onsemi is excited to share the base salary range for this position is $23.51 to $41.06 exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of internal equity of our current team members. We also offer a competitive benefits package.

Responsibilities
Lithography Equipment Support
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on lithography equipment (e.g., scanners, steppers, coat/develop tracks, and supporting systems)
- Respond to equipment alarms and resolve faults to minimize downtime
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities per SOPs
- Monitor system performance and ensure continuous production flow across the fab
- Support recovery from equipment interruptions and perform system restarts
- Assist with equipment calibration, adjustments, and upgrades
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper PPE usage and hazard identification
- Ensure compliance with cleanroom and semiconductor manufacturing standards
- Accurately log maintenance activities, equipment status, and issues in tracking systems
- Citrix (application access)
- WSPC (process control systems)
- Agile PLM (documentation)
- Learning / SumTotal (training & compliance)
- Identify and escalate recurring equipment issues
- Partner with engineering teams to drive equipment reliability improvements
- Support lean manufacturing and 5S initiatives
- Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and Control Center teams
- Communicate system status and shift handoffs clearly
Lithography Equipment Expertise
- Strong understanding of lithography equipment and semiconductor manufacturing processes
- Quickly diagnose mechanical, electrical, or process-related issues
- Proactively identifies and mitigates risks
- Consistent performance in a critical uptime-driven environment
- Works effectively across shifts and functions
- Maintains accuracy in maintenance and documentation
- Semiconductor cleanroom / controlled manufacturing environment
- Exposure to lithography equipment, precision mechanical systems, and automated manufacturing tools
- Standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift
- Use of full PPE (gowning, gloves, safety glasses, etc.)
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts, including weekends/holidays as needed
- Basic knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn factory systems
- Ability to lift and handle components (up to 35 lbs)
- Experience with lithography equipment in semiconductor manufacturing
- Familiarity with steppers, scanners, coat/develop tracks, or related process equipment
- Experience in lithography equipment maintenance or semiconductor manufacturing
- Knowledge of PLCs, sensors, and control systems
- Experience with 5S, Lean, or continuous improvement practices
