Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations of the central utilities plant, ensuring the safety of employees and the reliability of service.
- Manage and mentor technicians and engineers.
- Develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Oversee performance, capacity planning, and system resilience.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage budgets, forecasting, capital planning, and vendor contracts.
- Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Support facility upgrades, process improvements, and energy efficiency.
- Maintain accurate documentation and operational records.
- Drive adoption of best practices and advanced controls.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
- 7 years of utilities/facilities/plant operations experience; semiconductor experience preferred.
- 3 years of leadership in 24/7 operations.
- Expertise in major utility systems (UPW, chillers, boilers, compressed air, etc...).
- Leadership & Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and team leadership.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
