Job Overview
Client are hiring a Licensed & Certified Pharmacy Technician II to support pharmacists with prescription processing, data entry, patient communication, and daily pharmacy operations. This role requires strong accuracy, medical terminology knowledge, and experience in a fast-paced retail or healthcare environment.

Top Requirements

• Licensed & Illinois Certified Pharmacy Technician (license # at top of resume)
• 5 years pharmacy experience (retail preferred)
• Strong medical terminology knowledge
• Fast & accurate data entry
• Call center or high-volume patient interaction experience

Responsibilities

• Enter and process prescriptions accurately and in compliance with regulations
• Contact providers for missing or incorrect information
• Handle inbound/outbound patient and provider calls
• Manage benefits verification and test claims
• Update patient medication/allergy records
• Support daily workflow, issue resolution, and process improvements
• Work collaboratively with pharmacy team and leadership

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician license (or eligible to apply on Day 1)
• 3–5 years in a healthcare/pharmacy setting
• Strong computer and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
