About the Position
Onpoint Industrial Services is hiring Entry-Level Confined Space Attendants to join our growing rescue team. No previous experience is required. We provide all training and certifications, along with a clear path to advance into a Certified Rescue Technician for standby rescue operations.
This role is ideal for motivated, safety-minded individuals looking to build a long-term career in industrial safety and rescue.

Duties of a Confined Space Attendant
- Monitoring the entry: Remain outside the confined space and keep a constant watch on authorized entrants and conditions inside.
- Testing the atmosphere: Conduct ongoing air quality testing to ensure it is safe for entry and work.
- Maintaining communication: Keep continuous communication with entrants and initiate emergency procedures if a problem arises.
- Controlling access: Manage who can enter or exit the space and ensure only authorized personnel are inside.
- Summoning help: Be prepared to immediately call upon standby rescuers if an incident occurs.
- Reporting hazards: Report hazards to a supervisor and maintain accurate entry documentation.
Physical Demands
- Must be physically able to perform assigned tasks and access all work environments.
- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, climb ladders or stairs, and access tunnels.
- Work environments may include industrial facilities, outdoor conditions, confined or small areas, and elevated platforms.
- May be required to stand, walk, balance, stoop, kneel, reach, talk, see, hear, and sit for extended periods.
Requirements
- Entry-level — no experience required
- Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation required
- Ability to travel to various job sites
- Must remain alert, reliable, and safety-focused
- Must pass drug screen and background check
