The Director of Health Program Operations is responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects of health education programs. This includes curriculum management, where they track and archive curriculum changes, maintain timelines, and update handbooks. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Curriculum Management:
Track all curriculum changes driven by assessment data each semester and maintain archives required for ACEN accreditation.
Maintain curriculum timeline and uphold proper notetaking in meeting minutes to track discussions leading to curriculum or process changes.
Update student and faculty handbooks each semester, tracking changes for student notification and faculty orientation.
Admissions:
Work with admissions to determine admission criteria, application deadlines, and admittance rates.
Review application lists after screening by admissions and begin the acceptance process.
Manage the acceptance process, including lab registration, advisement day, and information dissemination.
Conduct advisement sessions for incoming students each semester and handle all new and potential student questions and issues.
Graduation and Licensing:
Prepare NYS list of graduates to send to the registrar and NYS for licensing.
Handle all NCLEX regulations, needs, and data for accreditation.
Act as ATI liaison, coordinating products and comprehensive exams, and tracking student progress.
Clinical Coordination:
Collect clinical schedules and place students in appropriate clinicals, ensuring no duplicate sites or instructors.
Work with compliance officers on regulations from all clinical sites.
Manage student access to clinical sites, including registration for EPIC classes and EHR access.
Handle day-to-day issues with clinical sites.
Accreditation Support:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, or a Healthcare related field from an accredited college, university or foreign equivalency.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in academic administration, program coordination, or a related field.
Minimum 2-4 years of project management experience, managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
Experience developing and managing budgets.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bilingual in English and Spanish. English and another language will be considered.
Experience with accreditation processes and clinical coordination is highly desirable.
Master's degree in a health-related field.
Experience working at a college or university, managing health programs.
