We're a Denver tea house built on a single, uncompromising idea: that every moment deserves intention. We craft premium, handcrafted teas and tea beverages for guests who want to pause, notice, and be present in their day, and we're looking for people who feel the same way about their work.
An Onommatist is an artisan of presence. Every cup you prepare, every pot you steep, every guest you greet is an invitation for someone to slow down. If you find genuine joy in the details, the perfect temperature, the precise pour, the honest smile, we'd love to meet you.
No tea experience required. We provide comprehensive, paid training. What matters most is your care, your reliability, and your curiosity.
What You'll Do
- Craft with intention. Prepare premium tea beverages with precision and care, treating each drink as a moment of presence for our guests.
- Curate the experience. Present our handcrafted teas beautifully, so every cup is as restorative as it is delicious.
- Share our world. Guide guests through our collection of teas, sharing the story and craftsmanship behind each blend.
- Create connection. Welcome every guest with genuine warmth and attentive, unhurried service.
- Master the craft. Build real expertise in tea origins, brewing techniques, and flavor profiles (we'll teach you).
- Maintain excellence. Keep the space clean, organized, and beautiful. Every detail matters.
- Collaborate gracefully. Work seamlessly with your fellow Onommatists, especially during busy moments.
