Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving beverages, and ensuring an enjoyable experience for all patrons.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently using Aloha POS or other point-of-sale systems.
- Monitor inventory levels, restocking supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to food safety and handling regulations to maintain a safe environment for both staff and guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering events or special functions to deliver an exceptional dining experience.
- Stay updated on drink trends, menu changes, and promotions to enhance customer engagement.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, particularly in nightclub or catering settings.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
