Onmark/Onmark United and Unity represent approximately 50% of the dollar spend for community-based oncology practices. Monarch and Pathways are growing Health Systems and Specialty Pharmacy GPO’s. PSaS GPO Services provides its members access to a premier contract portfolio and to innovative business and clinical solutions to help members operate more efficiently and deliver cost-effective, high-quality patient care. The Onmark and Unity GPOs alone have more than 2,500 member practices representing over 4,500 physicians. The Business Development Director (BDD)will be primarily responsible for business to business (B2B) management of routine activities with key current and prospective a portfolio of Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology Manufacturer “Partners” to assure that all client needs are adhered to/exceeded. The Business Development Director will also be responsible for developing and/or facilitating training activities that are required by the GPO Services team. This is an outstanding opportunity for someone looking to work within a fast moving GPO organization. Key Responsibilities Development and execution of account management strategy for a portfolio of 10 manufacturing partners and prospects. Coordination and prioritization of key activities with other Business Development Director team members and the broader GPO team. Account management responsibilities between MCK GPO’s and Manufacturer Partner organizations. Scheduling and conducting Quarterly Business Reviews, tradeshow events, and other meetings to strengthen the GPO/manufacturer partnership Project management of all contracting activities between GPO Services and the manufacturer including proposal, negotiation, execution, launch, and renewals Collaboration with Marketing and GPO Contracting function to assure timely and accurate internal/external communication of contract updates/amendments Specialized Knowledge/Skills: Ideal candidate will have 4 years experience in managed care or health related markets Outstanding client service and interpersonal skills are a must Strong business acumen with a winning attitude. Results oriented Strong interpersonal skills to work well with cross-functional teams Excellent project management skills and detail oriented. Desired Skills: Large account management and B2B experience working with or selling to pharmaceutical/biotech/healthcare sales Experience with review of contracts Understanding of the oncology and multi specialty marketplace Experience with market analytics Working Conditions: Travel – Up to 25% of time. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
