Position Summary:
We are seeking a licensed PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide home health services in Hidalgo County. The ideal candidate is reliable, compassionate, and comfortable traveling to patients' homes. This role offers flexible scheduling and the chance to make a meaningful impact in the communities we serve.
Responsibilities:
- Implement physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
- Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional mobility activities
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the clinical team
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safety measures
- Travel between patient homes across assigned counties
Qualifications:
- Current PTA license in the state of Texas
- Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred (new grads considered)
- CPR certification
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Schedule:
- PRN (as-needed)
- Flexible hours; weekday and weekend availability preferred
