Join our vibrant food truck team as an Order Taker and Food Truck Worker! This dynamic role is perfect for energetic individuals passionate about serving "Only Fresh" Fish to our community and guests, customer interaction, and fast-paced environments. You will be the friendly face greeting customers, taking their orders accurately, entering items into the POS system and serving delicious food with enthusiasm. Your positive attitude and efficiency will help create memorable experiences for our guests while ensuring smooth operations on the go. This Food Trailer is brand new and has A/C. There are no deep fryers or ovens to make it a hot working environment. It will be a comfortable place to work in.

Duties

• Greet customers with Aloha and take their orders using POS system ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change while maintaining excellent cash handling practices
• Prepare and serve food & beverage items according to established recipes and safety standards, including basic food preparation and food handling techniques
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the food truck and equipment, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety regulations
• Manage time effectively during busy service periods to ensure quick turnaround times in a fast food or quick service environment
• Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies, and monitoring food quality throughout shifts

Skills

• Proven experience in food service, restaurant work, or the food industry with a focus on quick service or fast food environments is a plus although we are WILLING TO TRAIN if you are willing to learn.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing and cashiering
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with diverse guests
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions, retail math calculations, and cash handling
• Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods smoothly
• Experience in culinary tasks or kitchen environments is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
