What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Worker for 2nd shift position at OnLinePackaging?
Job Summary
We are a liquid bottling manufacturer and looking for 1-2 people for our 2nd shift production line. Hours are Monday - Thursday 2:00pm - 12:30am
You will work 4 - 10 hour shifts and have every Friday, Saturday and Sunday off!
Duties
- Assisting on liquid filling line.
- Position changes every hour. You will be moving from checking bottle caps, loading cardboard boxes into the machine, loading pallets into the machine and driving a forklift of finished product. DO NOT APPLY if you can not safely drive a forklift in a busy warehouse on day one.
- Inspect finished product for quality and accuracy
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
- Assist when needed during any down time
Qualifications
- Must be able to stand for 8-10 hours
- Must be able to be around chemicals
- Must be able to multitask
- Must be able to pay attention to the assembly line at all times
- Must be able to read and interpret instructions
- Must have strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot assembly line issues
- Must have good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment that can be fast paced
- Must be able to safely drive a forklift on your first day of work in a busy warehouse
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
