What are the responsibilities and job description for the LinkedIn Marketing VA - Content, Lead Generation & Sales Support position at OnlineJobs.PH?
About Me
I'm Jared, founder of Aurum Alpha, a US consulting firm that helps software company CEOs fix how their engineering teams deliver. I spent over two decades building and leading software engineering teams before starting my own practice. Mentoring people is a large part of how I've spent my career, and I bring that to everyone who works with me.
The opportunity
You will work directly with me, one on one. I'm hiring one person, dedicated to this role, who already knows their way around social media marketing and wants to sharpen that craft inside a real US consulting business. I will show you how I want things done and coach you the way I've coached engineers and managers for two decades. You bring the marketing skills and the drive. I bring the direction, the mentorship, and a business you can grow with.
What you'll do
Business admin: inbox and calendar support, research, keeping our Notion workspace organized, preparing contract documents for eSignature, and following up with clients until documents are signed
LinkedIn content: draft posts with me using AI writing tools, schedule them, track what performs
Account management: monitor my LinkedIn account, watch comments and notifications, engage with replies
Lead engagement: hold DM conversations with interested people and book intro calls on my calendar
Lead sourcing: identify prospects for cold outreach using online tools, including AI tools and ----------
Pipeline and CRM: manage leads in our CRM, keep every record current, and build automations that keep the pipeline moving
The role will expand as you prove yourself. I will train you on how I want things done, and I expect you to arrive with the fundamentals already in hand. We use Notion, Typefully, Claude, Canva, ---------- , and Google Workspace. Comfort working with tools like these is expected; I'll show you how we run ours.
Who I'm looking for
Real experience doing marketing and lead generation work on LinkedIn. Instagram and Facebook experience is a plus; LinkedIn is where most of the work happens.
You can write a scroll-stopping LinkedIn post, and you can show me work that proves it.
Sales and marketing come first for you. Admin is part of the job; marketing is the job.
You self-start and figure things out. I set direction and standards; you run with them.
Excellent written English. Most of this job is writing.
Fast, clear communication. You reply promptly and you say what you mean.
Coachable. You take feedback and apply it the first time.
Reliable internet and computer, with daily availability that overlaps some US business hours.
No degree required. Your writing and your work samples matter more than your resume.
Pay and hours
Part-time to start, about 20 hours per week, at $500 to $750 USD per month depending on skill and experience. The role grows to full-time for the right person, and pay grows with it.
