Breakdown Coordinator

Online Transport is seeking an organized and highly motivated Breakdown Coordinator who is looking for an opportunity for growth within a growing family owned company. As a
Breakdown Coordinator, you will need to be a thorough problem solver to ensure a best-in-class experience for our drivers.

This position is Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.–6 p.m., with rotating on-call duties a couple of nights per week after hours (6 P.M.–6 A.M.)

Job Description:

• Assist drivers with breakdown needs, accidents, and emergencies by either routing them to terminals or coordinating roadside repairs.
• Assist with load-related issues if working at a time when dispatch is not available.
• Arrange breakdown services by locating authorized vendors within close proximity to ensure minimum wait time, competitive pricing and quality repairs.
• Communicate any service disruptions and route changes due to down equipment.
• Identify warrantable repairs and file claims with the appropriate vendor(s) or manufacturer as needed.
• Maintain contact with vendor(s) during repair to ensure specific requirements are being met.
• Update all parties regarding progress toward completion of repairs.
• Coordinate payment methods to vendors.
• Issue PO #'s to required vendors.
• Facilitate vendor RO’s for shops.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
• Must be able to work effectively in an on-site team environment.
• Able to prioritize and manage time efficiently, and be on-time.
• Frequent phone usage (Required)
• Experience with maintenance software (TMT preferred)
• Knowledge of truck/trailer maintenance (Preferred)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook (Required)
• Experience with maintenance software TMT (Preferred)

Pay: $35,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
