Sponsorship Manager—Inside Sales
Remote position
Salary: $45,000-$55,000 base salary plus commission
Job Summary:
The Sponsorship Manager will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new market opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and increasing revenue by promoting and selling all Online Learning Consortium (OLC) sponsorship product lines including webinars, dedicated emails, research, publications, corporate memberships, and conference exhibit booths and sponsorships (in person and virtual). The Sponsorship Manager will manage follow-through on agreements as well as benefits fulfillment. This person may also represent the Online Learning Consortium at our annual on-site conferences, oversee the exhibit hall floor, and build relationships for future partnerships.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales goals for all assigned OLC product lines and effectively manage revenue pipeline.
- Develop new sales opportunities by researching and identifying prospective accounts and decision-makers.
- Solicit and secure new business leads through strategic research, analysis, and outreach.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Maintain organized records and reporting in Salesforce following the organization’s Salesforce processes, policies, and procedures.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize value for the company.
- Create customized agreements and reports necessary to support existing customers, partners, sponsors, and prospective sponsors.
- Assist in the strategic development of sponsorship/exhibitor offerings and coordinate the fulfillment of sponsor benefits and contracts.
- Supply leadership with weekly sales reports on account activity, outstanding proposals, customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Other responsibilities as requested.

Minimum Education and Experience:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
- 5 years of successful sales experience in a quota carrying role with a strong track record of increasing revenue through prospecting, creating new business, and growing existing business preferably in education.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Prior experience in a non-profit
- Education technology industry experience and knowledge
- Familiarity or experience with the goals and mission of the Online Learning Consortium
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times during conference setup.
Travel Required:
- Attend OLC national conferences and competitor conferences as assigned
