Position Summary
The Wedding Sales Manager is responsible for driving wedding-related revenue by generating, qualifying, and converting leads for ceremonies, receptions, room blocks, and ancillary event opportunities. This role manages the full sales cycle—from initial inquiry through post-event follow-up—while delivering an exceptional client experience that reflects the property’s brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Standard Days: Tuesday through Saturday
Sales & Revenue Generation
- Proactively source, qualify, and convert wedding and social event leads to achieve monthly and annual sales goals.
- Manage a portfolio of wedding business including ceremonies, receptions, rehearsal dinners, farewell brunches, and guest room blocks.
- Conduct site tours that highlight venue features, packages, and value-adds to drive bookings.
- Build relationships with planners, vendors, and community partners to increase referral business.
- Upsell enhancements, packages, and additional event opportunities to maximize revenue.
- Complete outside sales calls as directed by General Manager/Above Property Leadership/Director of Sales
Client Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for wedding clients from inquiry through contract signing.
- Listen to client needs and present tailored solutions that align with their vision and budget.
- Maintain consistent communication, ensuring clients feel informed, supported, and confident throughout the planning process.
- Transition confirmed events to the event planning/operations team with complete and accurate details.
Administrative & Operational Support
- Prepare proposals, contracts, and BEO handoffs according to brand and company standards.
- Accurately report booking activity, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts.
- Maintain detailed records in CRM systems.
- Attend weekly revenue, operations, and BEO meetings as needed to support event success.
Market & Competitive Awareness
- Monitor local wedding trends, competitor offerings, and market demand to identify new opportunities.
- Maintain a presence at bridal shows, networking events, and community activations.

Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years in hotel, venue, or catering sales; wedding experience preferred.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficient in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and event management tools.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Positive, client-focused attitude with the ability to remain calm and solution-oriented under pressure.
- Flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends based on client needs and events.
