The Barnett Auto Group has an opening in South Austin at Onion Creek Volkswagen! We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join our team!

Summary:

Finance Managers are responsible for securing and coordinating the sale of a new and/or pre-owned vehicle for a customer. They work with financial institutions to provide lending and protection products in a legal, moral and ethical manner.

Responsibilities:

· Determine monthly and yearly forecasts in departmental gross profits

· Offer and build value in F&I products to generate gross profit

· Establish and maintain strong working relationships with lenders, OEM and non-OEM

· Secure funding for all vehicle purchases

· Host Daily Save-A-Deal meetings with desk managers and sales personnel

· Handle all rate quotations

· Check all paperwork for correct title, lien information, taxes, etc.

· Establish and meet monthly objectives

· Maintain an F&I log to track income

· Verify insurance with customers agents, obtain deposits, verify trade payoffs

· Must follow all company financial and privacy procedures

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or the equivalent

· Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information

· Degree or commensurate experience in finance

· Knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures ·

· 3-5 years Previous finance experience

· Computer knowledge preferred

· Professional personal appearance ·

· Excellent communication skills ·

· Must be authorized to work in the USA ·

· Must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner

· Must be able to demonstrate the ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver license

EDUCATION:

· High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
