Job Description
1st Shift 7:30am - 4:30pm $17hr
The QA / Assist will be responsible for inspecting, making sure audits are completed, inspecting product. You will play a crucial role in maintaining product consistency and identifying any defects in our products. You will be assisting the Plant Manager in maintaining accurate records, and all quality control
Key Responsibilities:
· Follows general procedures in performing quality assurance
· Performs counts and physical products for any damages or expirations
· Assists the Operations Manager in daily tasks
· Assists the Operations Manager in quality control
· Performs and documents daily checks and files reports
· Performs and documents required inspection for manufacturing and operational related inspections.
· Follows proper GMPs
· Conducts administrative work relating to QA
· Assist with other quality and operational projects as needed as directed by the Operations Manager
Work Experience
Skills and Experience:
· QA / QC Experience
· Bilingual (English and Spanish)
· Computer literate and experience with Microsoft Office
· Strong multi-tasking skills with high level of attention to detail.
· Auditing experience preferred.
· Energetic, creative, self-directed with high level of integrity.
· Ability to provide partnership, support, and communication to Plant Manager
· Ability to handle multiple tasks
· Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Able to work overtime
· Excellent written and oral communication skills with peers and customers.
