Position Title: Mid-Level Power Application Developer
Location: National Capital Area
Clearance: Secret
OneZero Solutions is seeking a Mid-Level Power App Developer to support the design, development, and implementation of low-code/no-code applications using Microsoft Power Platform. This role will work closely with business analysts and end users to build scalable and maintainable apps that meet mission needs. The ideal candidate has hands-on Power Apps development experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for enabling business productivity through modern technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Canvas and Model-Driven Power Apps tailored to business needs.
- Automate processes using Power Automate (Flow).
- Create and manage integrations with SharePoint, Teams, and other Microsoft 365 services.
- Apply low-code customization and troubleshoot app issues.
- Configure data sources such as SharePoint, Dataverse, and SQL Server.
- Use existing connectors to link Power Apps with external services.
- Assist in the identification and application of DoD cybersecurity requirements within the application design and development effort. Participate in requirement-gathering sessions with business users.
- Provide ongoing support and enhancements for existing Power Platform solutions.
- Contribute to documentation and user training materials.
Required Qualifications
- 4-6 years of experience. 3 years of professional experience in application development, focused on Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven)
- Strong familiarity with DOD security requirements and standards associated with application development
- Proficiency with Canvas Apps; exposure to Model-Driven Apps is a plus.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 integrations (e.g., SharePoint, Teams).
- Familiarity with common cloud architectures, services, and containerized environments
- Basic understanding of SQL, relational databases, and data connectors.
- Some experience with Power Fx, JavaScript, or scripting for customizations.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or comparable experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals certification (PL-900) or equivalent.
- Exposure to Azure services or custom connectors.
- Understanding of basic UX principles and interface design best practices.
